Hills Rewards Customers with
New Hills Homebase Loyalty Program


Hills has officially launched its customer loyalty program, Hills Homebase.

Membership to the program offers registered Hills Australia account holders a dedicated portal, which will give them early access to promotions and product specials as well as allow members to monitor their spend and unlock better pricing.

Hills Homebase launch promotion Rewards for Every Purchase gives customers ‘real rewards’ via eMastercards. For every $A200 ex GST spent on Security and ICT products, customers will receive 1 point. Every point then translates to $1.00 on an eMastercard, which can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

‘We are really proud of what we have achieved with Hills Homebase. Since the program launched on Sunday, we have had more than ten times the initial forecast of customers register,” said Naomi Ward, marketing manager at Hills.

“We have also had a huge number of customers call and email their account manager about the program. Our customers are genuinely excited about the opportunities that Hills Homebase membership offers. We are also planning to add customer support services into Hills Homebase as well — not only will it be a place members can monitor their participation in sales promotions like the Rewards for Every Purchase offer, we’ll add options including white-labelled sales collateral and advertising materials.

“We aim to help members reduce their running costs — offering members greater support to grow their businesses is a key priority for us. It’s a really exciting time for our customers and us,” Ward said.

The promotion is the pinnacle of Hills customer-first loyalty strategy which includes the ongoing IDIS Win a Custom Built SAVIC Motorcycle promotion launched earlier in the year, and the recent Tecom Tecoin gift rewards offer.

According to James Layton, head of distribution at Hills, the team is focused on creating opportunities for customers to better engage with Hills.

“The Tecom Tecoin and IDIS Savic Motorcycle promotions are targeted at customers buying from the access control and video security markets respectively, and underpin the Hills Homebase program,” Layton said. “It’s important for us to ensure that we have appealing promotions available to customers — not only do we want customers to receive great service and products, we want to reward them for being loyal.”

For the next 6 months, when registered members purchase Security and ICT products from Hills Australia, they will earn Rewards for Every Purchase points. Once they have earned a minimum of 100 points, they can start redeeming points for eMastercards.
